need to get rid of 3 boxes of contact lenses

So I just got a new prescription for contact lenses, and now, due to bad planning on my part, I'm stuck with three unopened boxes of Acuvue2 lenses. Here's the info:

BC 8.7
DIA 14.0
D -2.00
good until 2009/06

What the hell am I supposed to do with these things?

Any of you guys want them? Any thoughts on how I might get rid of them without having to just throw them away?

If they're still sealed, you might call the local hospital & ask about donation programs for contacts & glasses. I honestly don't know if they'd take contacts, but there are nonprofit organizations that gather used glasses for underprivileged children, and if anyone might know, it'd be them. Alternately, ask your optician, and maybe s/he might know who'd accept donated lenses.

I wear -- I am not kidding -- -11.0, so I can't take them :)

but I suggest posting to freecycle nyc (it's a yahoo group) or even craigslist.
