Sometimes this show catches me off guard by being awesome. Let's get something straight: I think Leverage is fundamentally kind of terrible. That's not to say I don't love it (OH HOW I LOVE IT), but come on. The schlock, the clumsy writing, the weird, unconvincing hypersentimentalism, Nate's terrible hair, Elliot's terrible hair...
That said, there's always at least one moment per episode, often more like four or five moments, where they get something so startlingly right, create a moment so awesome or funny or weird, that it just takes my breath away.
Today I want to talk about a subset of those breath-taking kind of moments: stealth hotness. Parker, Hardison, and Eliot are all generally hot no matter what, but sometimes their weirdo costumes and personas create some kind of bizarre hotness alchemy.
