Good God, it's been a while.

OK, so: fannishly, I've been rolling around in SGA and this cracktastic yaoi perfectbinding pimped me to called "Love Mode."

So, well, crack.

Um.

OK, now that I start writing I find that I actually have very little to say except that I love John and I love Rodney.

I'm looking to catch up on all the Big Important Fic for this fandom, guys. So if you feel like it, I'd love it if you were to comment here with recs. If I've already read it, I'll tell you what I thought about it, and if I haven't I'll thank you profusely and scamper off to read it. Please just John/Rodney, though. I can't handle branching out into other pairings for a while.

Love Mode, ohmygod. They just released the first volume of the official English release, which I am not buying because I hate that couple, but then there's Reiji and his underage big-eyed kitten, good Lord.

Do you want a copy of the CD I made with the most cracktastic yaoi I could find, by any chance? Because Love Mode is relatively tame, what with the lack of shapechangers and dinosaurs and talking penises and MPREG.

Oooh, I might take you up on that CD offer sometime... right now I'm sort of swamped with the disc perfectbinding gave me which has lovemode and about 400 other series for me to plough through. But I'll definitely give you a holler when I run out! Thanks for the kind offer. :)

Love mode is such crack. And I sort of agree about the first couple... kind of annoying. But word on Reiji and Naoya. SWEET SWEET CRACK. I was talking to perfectbinding (my yaoi mom/pimp) about how I love this mangaka but she seems to only be able to draw, like, three different faces, so I have to watch really carefully for differences in hairstyle and clothes to tip me off as to who is who. She pointed out that you can always tell Reiji--he's the one who's scowling. :)
