Grrblugh

Woughkrrk.

Sometimes my job makes me hurt. Not 99.9% of the time, but every so often I'll have a moment or a conversation that leaves me feeling like I've been hit in the jaw with a baseball bat. Sort of surprised and numb and hot all at the same time.

I just had one of those moments. In retrospect, it's good we cleared it up before I went any further on false premises, but for god's sake, I'm not a moron. I was acting on the information I was given, and I was not acting inappropriately. I'm tired of having to assume responsibility for fuck-ups that are either someone else's fault or no-one's fault just because I'm the junior person onthe project.

OMG, just the thought of it makes me so happy.

Obviously you need chocolate-chip cookies. Anytime after Tuesday, but say the word and I can make them for you, and their soothing chocolatey goodness will set things right.

Jack will kick their asses when Skinner's done.

You two and your big daddy gummint men are the best. Cookies! I may just take you up on that...

Operations could also help out with the ass-kicking, although he'd probably delegate the work. Sexily. Sadly I have no icon of him to contribute.

Who is Operations? See--you totally need an icon!

Oh, yes, and thanks for the kind words. In retrospect I may have overreacted a *tiny bit* but it's amazingly cheering to have so many peeps offering up their ass-kickers!

He's the head spy guy in La Femme Nikita. More Silver Fox than Skinner, but still quite fetching.

Not the best picture, but you get the idea.
