morning ritual

On mornings when I need to be up earlier than Mr Smarty Pants, I bring my computer into the bathroom with me and sit on the floor, which has hot water pipes running right under the tile and is always pleasantly warm. That's where I am right now.

I haven't updated in a while -- I've been kind of tired and stressed out with one thing and other and haven't really had much to say that would be appropriate for this forum.

Even when I'm not posting, though, LJ is still such a wonderful resource for me. My friends list provides this weird kind of passive or almost accidental emotional support -- just knowing that y'all are out there in the world, having good days and bad, well, it makes me happy.

I better get showered and off to work. My goal is to get to work earlyish and leave earlyish and go grocery shopping for the groceries I really should have bought this weekend.
