My journal style is FUCKED UP, man.

Whyyyyyy is my journal style so uuuuugly all of a sudden? It's like they put a gray filter over everything except the subject fields.

EEEEEEEEEEEW.

ETA: When I wrote that I was using MAGAZINE... but it's prompted me to switch to TRANQUILITY II. Not sure what I think yet...

You too, then. I've been fighting like mad with my Magazine style all morning. I can't read a thing, it's now black text on dark blue background, with the links displayed with a slightly lighter blue. I have to select the text in order to see anything at all. I've deleted every customization, style and layer I've found and still the effing thing does this!!! AAAAAARGH!!!!!

Aha!!!!!! I was able to fix mine!!! Apparently in the style the "sidebar colour" has started to leak over the entire journal, so since mine was dark blue, the background of the journal became dark blue too even though it was supposed to white. I changed it on customizations, "Edit customizations" -> "Colors" -> "Sidebar color" -> "Override default" -> #ffffff (aka white).

I just like the Magazine style and I don't want to change it. I don't need mile wide side bars for stoopid links, just as much room for the text as possible!!

You are such a resource! Thanks for this, and for the info on that media player. As it happens, I'm really digging my new style -- Tranquility II -- so I think I'll stick to that for a while. But thanks for the info!
