First, you have to scroll up to get the whole story about this mounted cop riding his horse up onto the sidewalk outside a popular restaurant in Chelsea.

Second, let's take a moment to appreciate that this guy DISMOUNTED, and TOOK OFF HIS HORSE'S BRIDLE. That's... probably completely unprofessional, but also totally awesome. What a great way to cruise! "Hi, I'm Officer Joe Smith, and this is my great big white horse. Feel free to pet him and feed him carrots."

The crazy thing is, I think I've SEEN that horse, because I remember seeing a mounted cop on a HUGE white horse (17+ hands) a while back, and I know the Mounted Unit tries to stick to the various shades of brown for uniformity, so there can't be that many big ol' white horses in the Mounted...
