Big ol' SGA recs post

Here are some SGA stories I've read and enjoyed lately.
The last full measure of devotion, by Sarah T.
I love this story, even though it's so, so hurty. Events take a tragic turn in Atlantis, and the entire future of the mission is perverted. A perceptive and worrisomely persuasive take on Rodney, John, and Elizabeth -- three characters whose better natures are perhaps not so firmly in control as they might wish.
The Roads Never Lead Where They're Supposed to Go, by
eleveninches.
This playful, sweet, and otherwise fabulous AU was written for the B Movie Ficathon. John is an environmentalist botanist on the Atlantis expedition, and Rodney's... not in charge. Also, there are tiny dinosaurs. You'll love it. Trust me.
And Truth, Beauty, by
trinityofone.
Written for
svmadelyn's 13 Challenge. John is many things to many people.
trinityofone has such a great touch -- I think of her as sort of the chameleon of SGA fandom... she can write anything, and she seems to have more ideas in her head at any one moment than I probably have in a year. This is another great one.
The Intergalactic Adventures of Lieutenant John Sheppard in the Twenty-First Century, by Sarah T.
John loses his memories of everything that's happened to him since he was a happy-go-lucky slacker Lieutenant. A great little character sketch -- John before things went very wrong for him. Sarah T generally gets John *just right*, and this is no exception.
Be Cool, by Hth.
John and Rodney smoke up together. Yes, it's as awesome as you think it is. *HEARTS THEM* (Also, v. v. hot.)
A Regular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, by
out_there
Rodney is trained in the ways of the ninja. Yes, this, too, is as awesome as you think it is. People! Rodney can walk on silent ninja feet and kill a man with an eggplant!
Sky Full Of (WIP), by

Rodney's characterization in this "Mummy" AU/crossover WIP is so perfect I was literally gaping at the screen while I read the first section, caught between howls of laughter and sheer astonishment at how GOOD it was. WIP, updated somewhat infrequently, so be warned. But don't let that stop you!
