Time to weed out my Firefox tabs again, kids! Here are some mostly-fannish tidbits for you to chew on.
The Dark Side, by Astolat
SGA: Jedi Rodney/Sith Lord John
I never really figured out the formal difference between a universe mash-up and a crossover, but this is one of them. Rodney's a technologically inclined Jedi and John's a sort of accidental Sith with the best spaceship ever. They meet, they fall into bed, and, because this story is by Astolat, it has possibly the most satisfying ending ever.
Revenge, by Astolat
SV/DCU: Clark/Lex
Another Astolat mashup, this time of two different Superman canons. I love this story because Lex almost entirely his comics-continuity self: evil and corrupt and President. But Clark has that Smallville gleam, and the SV backstory is there as well. *Such* a great combination.
The Joker's evil scheme goes wrong (or very, very right) and now the entire world has seen the broadcast footage of a chemically-induced, uh, *encounter* between Lex and Supes. The way Lex spins it -- and quietly falls apart -- is incredibly entertaining, as is Clark's reaction.
Successful Trade, You Can't Always Get What You Want, and this snippet, by Jssangel
SGA: Weir/Lorne
SEXXX DRUGS. Suddenly I am all about Weir/Lorne, and it's entirely due to this story. There's just something so awesome about how much Lorne likes to look at Weir's ass.
Hot Library Smut. This isn't fannish per se, but I bet a bunch of you will enjoy looking at these photographs of the most beautiful and ornate libraries in the world.
Our House (A Family Drama), by ebrooklynw
SGA vid
This vid is insanely fucking hilarious and also mildly offensive. Enjoy.
Bell Curve snippet, by Pru
SGA: Rodney/John
A little update to Pru's wonderfully engaging and satisfying "Bell Curve" universe. John's home from the war, and it's good timing -- Rodney's just finished laying the foundation to the shed John is going to sleep in once he's back.
