LotR extras

OK, so ukashin linked me to a youTube upload of the LotR easter egg where one of them is interviewing Elijah Woods, pretending to be a German journalist. And it was really funny and adorable.

And, well, as is my usual pattern (ie, arriving at the party three years late), I'd really like to see more of those boys, and their adorable shenanigans. So I figured I'd start by Netflixing the LotR discs and watching the extra features. But I'm already confused: what's the difference between the LotR DVDs and the LotR Extended Edition DVDs?

What would you guys recommend as, like, a primer for someone who wants to see adorable shenanigans?

Eagle Scouts

I am, for reasons that don't bear exploring at this juncture, doing a bit of research into what it takes to be an Eagle Scout.
