...Which they ate with a runcible spoon.

Mr. Smarty-Pants and I picked up two beautiful, round, yellow quinces at Fairway this weekend.

Anyone ever cooked quince? Quinces? I don't know how to pluralize that.

Anyhow, if you have a recipe, please share it! I'm kind of at a loss.

Do people cook quince? I thought you mostly ate it with Spanish cheeses.

Also, I believe it can be a pie.

Quinces can be cooked into jam or paste to eat with cheese, camemberts and bries. Also, I can't read the tiny tiny font in yhour comment box so spelling mistakes are not my fault.

You can poach a quince - like you micght poach a pear - and have it with ice cream or yoghurt or in some other dessert fashion.

Don't forget to rub all the fur off the skin under running water before you peel it.

I once set that poem to music for a class in high school. Of course I changed all instances of the word "pussy" to "kitty" when we performed it.

...

Yeah, can't help you with the quince. It makes really good jelly, though.
