OMG, people, this day is FREAKING ME OUT. The only nice thing that has happened today is lunch with a friend. But that was pretty nice. There was chocolate mousse. And conversation.

OK, taking deep breaths, now, and possibly helping self to a diet dr pepper. Tonight I think I will be having some beers.

ETA: since you ask (you didn't, I know), one of the things that is pissing me off is that not one but TWO of my triplet cousins has, in the last day, forwarded me this email hoax. Guys! You're in your twenties! You're citizens of the world! Whyyy are you forwarding this shit to me? I actually emailed the first one and asked if he was aware he had forwarded it -- giving him the benefit of the doubt that it might be hiding a virus. No, he said, he had forwarded it on purpose.

This wouldn't normally make me crazy, but apparently today is a crazy-making day. Deep breaths and diet pop... deep breaths and diet pop...

The problem with being the Internet-savvy and/or geeky one of your family is that you have to put up with their newbie-ness from time to time. I've actually managed to train my mom and dad against sending me crap like that through repeated slightly-snarky debunkings.
