I'm happy to see some positive posts about the show; it's been disheartening to see so many "I used to love you, but now I don't" comments this season, though I'm nostalgic for the simpler days of Seasons 1 and 2, as well.
There was a lot to like in the finale, though, which gives me hope for next season. I'm really happy we're not cancelled. ^^
I think part of it is that as much as I love Sam/Dean, it was never my end-all-be-all for this show. So it was less painful for me to see the rift between them.
