Madonna, diet coke

1) The NY Post has an awesome headline this morning: "Madonna Hurt by Brute Horse". I don't know why it makes me laugh, but it surely does.

2) Diet coke makes delicious breakfast!

3) (bonus) I sat next to a very well-dressed man on the subway today who knitted feverishly at a complicated cable-patterned project in neon green yarn. He had with him two enormous garbage bags full of yarn.

hey, I had diet coke for breakfast, too, but as a bonus, mine was all flat and left-over from yesterday in this liter bottle I took from a catered meeting we had.

I just love the tone of it. It's such a "city" reaction -- "Our precious Madonna was injured by one of those giant, violent monsters they breed out there in the country! Did you know they drink the blood of their victims?"

It's like she was trying to ride a lion or something.
